In 1621, the Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared
an autumn harvest feast, a celebration of Thanksgiving.
Days of Thanksgiving were celebrated by colonies and states
for the next two centuries.
In 1863, in the midst of the Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln
proclaimed Thanksgiving Day a national holiday.
Hundreds of years later, and more than ever, Americans celebrate
coming together with good food, family, and friends.
From Our Family to Yours…
Wishing you a Beautiful Thanksgiving.
